Spring Break 2020

Our spring break began on Friday the 13th.  We found out that evening that the kids would have an extra week off and Jared would be working from home due to the corona virus.  This is what we've been doing to keep busy.

On Friday the 13th we went to the Apopka Fair.  We weren't scared of Corona!  We arrived right at 5:00 pm when it opened and had the place to ourselves.  No lines!!!  It was the best fair ever.  Norah was tall enough to ride the ferris wheel this year.

After the fair we went to a concert at the Apopka Amphitheater.  The band was Cumberland Gap.  No one was there so we got to sit anywhere we wanted!

Norah lost another tooth on Sunday.

The weather was nice all week.  In the mornings we went for walks, jumped rope, played football, and Norah rode her bike.

Norah built a clubhouse in her room and the kids had a sleepover two nights.

Since we can't go anywhere we are finally getting around to raking a few months worth of leaves in the backyard.  Norah and I rake and Brock scoops.  Brock is thrilled to be doing yard work.

 Norah found some new friends.

Other activities: playing on the new laptop, baking, making cards, building a books of the Bible tower, reading books, and cleaning the bathroom.

Norah enjoys watching Leave It to Beaver while she eats breakfast.  She also discovered The Flintstones cartoon.  Now we try to eat supper before or after it comes on.

Jared and Brock go for a bike ride every afternoon and they also go for a long ride in the yellow car once a day to get out of the house for a while.

We've had two picnics at the fire park.  It's out in the middle of nowhere so no one is there.  We saw an owl and both kids climbed the rock wall without help.
