Our Family Christmas Day

We had our family Christmas today. Daddy got up early and started putting the trampoline together. Then we went to our town Christmas parade. The parade wasn't too exciting this year. There were lots of gaps and ridiculous advertising cars but the kids got cotton candy, cokes, and lots of candy.  Both of the kids thought it was really funny to look away while I took a picture.

After the parade we ate lunch at McDonald's and then went back home and played in the backyard while Daddy finished putting the trampoline together.  Brock and Norah loved the trampoline and jumped for a long time.  I even got to try it out with them.

We walked down to our neighborhood park and played a while and then we went home and opened our presents.  Norah got jewelry and puzzles and Brock got books, a game, and a playmobil pool.

The Playmobil pool was by far the most exciting.  Brock loved it and so did Norah but they had a hard time sharing so we had to let them take turns.

After supper we looked at Christmas lights and then it was time for bed.  We had a wonderful family day.

Santa Claus Came to Town!

Santa Claus came to our house last night.  He always comes to our house early because we travel and sometimes he has to deliver large gifts that won't fit on airplanes.  Brock could hardly stand the wait.  As soon as he heard the doorbell ring he was out of bed.  I made him wait for Norah and when I asked her who could be ringing the doorbell she said, "Maybe it's Santa!"

Santa Claus brought Brock a big trampoline for the backyard and he brought Norah a cradle for her baby and a Bo Peep.  Norah has wanted a Bo Peep for the longest time.

Norah wasn't scared of Santa this year and she even hugged him.  Brock's definitely got it all figured out about Santa but he still loved it!

Happy 7th Birthday, Brock!

Brock's birthday was on Saturday and he is now 7 years old!  This year he wanted to have a Christmas tree birthday party.  Norah, Mimi, and I had fun getting ready for the party the day before and the tree looked spectacular.

Brock had several friends come over and Mr. Richard performed again this year.  It was Mr. Richard's first Christmas concert this season.

After the concert we ate birthday cake.  Of course we had a Christmas tree cake for a Christmas tree party!

Then everyone had fun playing in the backyard.

Finally, it's was time for presents!  Thank you!!!

Happy Halloween!

This afternoon Brock and I went to the Halloween party at Daddy's office.  Brock wanted to be a skeleton again this year.  He had fun trick-or-treating and seeing all of the other kids in their costumes.

When we got home we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood.  Norah dressed up in a Raggedy Ann costume and she looked fabulous.  They were both extremely cute walking down the street.
