Norah is 13 Months Old!

It's hard to believe it's been a month since Norah's birthday.  She is talking a lot.  I will try to post a video of her talking sometime.  Most of it is super cute baby talk but she is saying a few words.  The first word she said was uh-oh and she says it a lot.  She loves to drop her spoon or cup or food and say uh-oh and she also says it when she falls down.  She says "bap" for bath, "baa" for ball and "nana" for banana.  She might be saying "that" because she frequently points at things and it sounds like she says "that".  I noticed that I am always asking her if she wants that or telling her she can't have that.

Norah has become very active and loves to climb.  I bought a new stroller for her and she loved climbing on and off the box.  She did it over and over and over again. She also likes to get on Brock's trampoline and try to jump.  All of the climbing makes me nervous.  Today we went to the park and all she wanted to do was climb.  When we play in our backyard all she wants to do is go down the slide.  We do it over and over and over again until I get too tired of lifting her up.  She is also walking quite a bit holding onto furniture but until a couple of days ago she wouldn't walk while we held her hands.  Daddy finally got her to do it.

Some other activities Norah enjoys are pulling all of the books off of Brock's bookshelf, taking off her socks and trying to put them on, trying to put on Brock's shoes, playing with cars, talking on the phone, and playing with her tea set.  She is now beginning to be interested in books especially our sign and sing along books, a This Old Man book, and the baby sign books.  She will do several signs while looking at the sign books like hat, dog, fish, flower, and telephone but the only ones she really uses are more and all done.  She is also becoming friendlier with other people and letting them hold her.  She actually gets excited when we pick Brock up from school and she gets to see her fans.  That is what I call the secretaries because they get so excited when she comes to visit.  Norah also likes Barney and Mickey Mouse.  I rarely have the TV on but everyone once in a while I will turn on one of those shows and she gets very excited.
