Banana!!!!!!

Brock said "banana" the correct way this weekend.  He has always pronounced it slowly with spaces between the syllables but on Saturday morning he said it the right way during breakfast.  I missed it because I was at the store but I heard him say the first two syllables while he watched Baby Babble.  It seemed like he was practicing.  Then on Sunday afternoon while we were eating a snack he suddenly said it for me.  He said it over and over and over again. Of course when I got the camera he stopped saying it, but I managed to get it one time.  He has also been saying "whee" since Independence weekend, when he slides or swings or makes his Little People slide and swing and this week he started saying "baw" for ball, instead of "buh"!!!  We played ball several times today and every time he threw the ball he said it. 

Gatorland

Brock and I went to Gatorland today with some friends.  It is super hot outside and I didn't know how long I would last.  We watched Gator wrestling, saw albino gators, baby gators, huge gators, emus, turtles, snakes, and lots of gross birds.  Brock liked the huge gator but I didn't get a picture because I had to hold Brock up so he could see.

After walking around for about an hour we rode the train.  That was lots of fun and helped us cool off some.

After the train ride we ate lunch and then got to the exciting part of the day, the playground and splash park!!!

I wish I could have played in the splash park.  It was sooooooo hot!  We shared an Icee and then came home.  Brock was so tired that he fell asleep in the car. 

Garage Sales

I don't know if I've ever mentioned how Brock and Jared spend their Saturdays. They like to go to garage sales and the flea market. They've found tons of cheap toys and clothes and things to resell on ebay. Sometimes I go with them but usually I stay home and clean the house. Here are some of the steals from June.

Fun Time at the Zoo

I apologize for not blogging lately.  We've been busy this summer and time has flown by.  Hopefully I will do several posts this week.  About a month ago Jared took a day off and we went to the zoo. 

  The zoo stinks but the splash park is awesome!  Brock took off running as soon as he saw it and had a great time. 



When Brock finally got tired we to eat at his favorite restaurant.
