Today is our 10th anniversary! We decided to spend the day at the beach and we had a great time. We got off to a slow start - we had to get gas, then Jared realized he left both of his sunglasses at work so we stopped to buy some. We drove about 15 minutes down the road and realized we forgot our cooler with all of our food but we didn't want to turn back and waste more time. We also had to stop and buy new sandals for Brock. I thought we were never going to get there. Brock did great on the drive and we got to our destination right about lunch time.
Brock loves hamburger and french fries!

When we left the Burger King the sky was very dark so we decided to go to Target and look for life jackets and floaties. The thunderstorm hit while we were there and we ended up staying in the store for an hour. Brock thought it was great because we let him get out of the shopping cart and run around and play with everything. I thought we would never get to the beach.

Finally, we made it! We had to park a long way off so we had to walk a long way and it was more crowded than we thought it would be, but we were still lucky enough to be able to rent an umbrella and beach chairs. Brock LOVED the beach! He was laughing and squealing and having the best time. We got him a floating starfish to sit in. They were so far away so it's hard to tell from the pictures how much fun he was having.

Brock also liked standing in the water and having the waves crash into him.

After playing in the water he walked all over the beach and got really thirsty. "Give me a drink, Mom!"

There is also a fun playground at the beach.

We were very tired an hungry when we left. Brock fell asleep on the way to the restaurant and got a nice nap since we had to wait a while for a table.
To end the day, we got to see a beautiful rainbow!
