Brock Goes to Kindergarten!

Brock's first day of Kindergarten was Monday.  He is going to a new school this year and he was very excited.  We walked him to his class the first two days and today we dropped him off in the front and he walked to class with a helper.  He was very excited on the first day and was ready for us to leave.  These pictures are from the first day.  He has an Avengers backpack and a Justice League lunchbox.  His classroom is in a portable building.  The teacher said he had a great first day and so far he seems to like his new school.

Norah is 18 Months Old!

Norah was 18 months old on July 17th.  She had her check-up the following week and she weighs 23 pounds and is in the 25th percentile for height and weight.  Her favorite books are Maisy Big, Maisy Small and Dr. Seuss ABC.  She still loves trying on shoes and hats and now likes to carry a purse.  Any type of bag will work as a purse, but she only carries them in the house.  She has 2 new molars, one of the bottom right and one on the top left side and she likes to brush her teeth.

Norah is saying many new words and she will say almost everything we tell her.  She can count from one to ten, recognize several letters, and can say and recognize basic shapes (circle, square, triangle, star) and do the shape sorter.  The first letter she said was D.  Here are some of her new words:
burger
Wendy's
fruit

dinosaur
night night
Texas Aggie
