Hollywood Studios Part 2

After awesome Pizza Planet lunch we went to a disappointing Playhouse Disney show.  It was canceled 10 minutes into the show just as the boys were getting in to it.  We then decided to split up and the girls rode The Great Movie Ride and the boys went back to the playground.  We tried Playhouse Disney again with Caleb (much better this time) and the rest of the crew went on the Backlot Tour.

Hooray for snack time!!!!!  Brock loves his popsicle and Caleb loves his Mickey ice cream.

After snacks we watched the Indiana Jones stunt show.  Caleb did not like the loud noises.

Benjamin, Shane, and Jared rode Star Wars one last time before we left and while waiting for them Brock and I walked around and we saw Jessie from Toy Story 2.  Brock got to meet her and he liked her a lot.  Unfortunately I did not have the camera with me.  Amy and Caleb watched Jedi training.  That concluded our day at Hollywood Studios. 

Hollywood Studios Part 1

We spent Monday at Disney Hollywood Studios.  We are very proud of ourselves for waking up early and getting to the park right as it opened.  To save money on parking Shane and I squeezed into the back on my CR-V.  Amy claims she cannot ride in the back because she will get carsick.

We walked immediately to Toy Story Mania and met some toy soldiers.  Then the Mortons went on the Backlot Tour and the Tornos went to the playground.  Brock likes explosions.

Benjamin and Caleb met Buzz Lightyear and Woody.

We went to the Prince Caspian exhibit and The Voyage of the Little Mermaid show but the Torno boys didn't like those too much and Brock doesn't like to watch shows but all of the grown-ups liked it.  The next ride was Toy Story Mania and it was awesome but it stops a lot and Brock does NOT like to stop.  He was very upset.  The next attraction was Star Tours.  Shane, Benjamin, Jared, and I rode while Amy stayed with Caleb and Brock.  We didn't have to wait in line at all and Benjamin loved it.  He said it was his favorite part of the park.  He got a "Build Your Own Light Saber" with his Disney card.

For lunch we ate at Pizza Planet.  We had to wait extra long for Brock's vegan pizza, but it was worth it.  He loved it!

TORNOS!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoo-hoo!!  The Tornos arrived on Friday and so far we've had a blast and we haven't even gone to Disney World yet!  Jared actually came home on time Friday night and we had pizza and played video games.

Brock enjoyed watching Aunt Amy fix her hair.  Now when he sees Amy he fluffs his hair for his sign.

On Saturday the kids watched Fantasia and Brock and Benjamin played Star Wars.

In the evening we went to the park and flew an X-wing fighter kite that Jared found at a garage sale that morning.  Brock and Benjamin did some rock climbing.

After all the kids went to bed we played games and ate delicious Milky Way Bar Swirl Cake.  Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm, Heavenly!!!!!

This afternoon we went to the Art and Foliage Festival.  All the boys wanted to ride in Uncle Jared's truck.

Universal Studios

Brock had a lot of fun at Universal Studios yesterday.

 First thing we rode the carousel. Brock really likes carousels. He was upset when we had to get off because he wanted to keep going and it was real short.

We looked around in the Dr. Seus book store and Brock found a fake door that he wanted to open.

 We went to the little spash park after lunch and Brock had a blast. Here Brock is applauding himself for making a poo poo.

Brock was very wet after playing in the splash park. We hadn't brought a change of clothes because we didn't think about there being a splash park.
 

After the splash park we rode the Cat in the Hat ride and Jared got video of Brock for the whole time. He's so cute.

Brock liked the carousel so much we rode it again. What a handsome boy.

Happy Easter!

Brock doesn't feel too good today and he did not want his picture taken.  I think he is suffering from allergies.  He was in a better mood after lunch so that's when we hunted Easter eggs.

 

Brock didn't seem to enjoy hunting Easter eggs outside as much as he did yesterday when we practiced inside.  However, today some of the eggs had surprises inside of them and after he found those he wanted more.  We put fruit treats, Teddy Grahams, and Peeps in the eggs.  He liked the Peep at first when he was licking the sugar but when he put the whole thing in his mouth and began to chew he made a gag face and pulled it out and handed it to me.  I can't begin to describe how disgusting a slobbered, blue Peep looks and feels.  Jared volunteered to eat the rest of the Peeps.   I don't like them much either.
